Artwork Criteria: Works by any Maine artist made within the last 3 years. Limit: 2 pieces per artist. All artwork must be labeled and ready to hang with picture wires attached. 3-D work will also be accepted on a limited basis.

Size Limit: 40 inches high X 30 inches wide

Post-Show Pick Up Dates: Tuesday 7/16/2024 through Tuesday 7/23/2024, 8:00am - 4:00pm (or by special arrangement)

The 13th Annual “44º North” Downeast Open Art Show will be hosted by Schooner Gallery of Milbridge in celebration of Maine artists who are residents and live within 44 nautical miles of Milbridge (50.6 miles). Artists of any age and training are invited to submit their artwork inspired by our 44º North environment. We are pleased to be once again hosting this exciting and inspiring annual art event held at the Schooner Gallery, 59 Main Street, Milbridge.

An opening reception for the show will be held on Friday, June 14th, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The show will continue through Monday, July 15th. Drop off dates are Monday, June 3rd through Tuesday, June 11th, from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Delivery of artworks in all media must be done in-person at the gallery.

Each artist may submit 2 pieces, made within the last three years and no larger than 40”x30”. 3-D work will also be accepted on a limited basis. All artwork must be labeled and ready to hang with picture wires attached. No mailed or shipped entries can be accepted.
